Examples of work
Professional copywriting, communications, and content marketing at the overlap of healthcare and storytelling. I develop copy, content-driven initiatives, marketing materials, and distribution strategies to reach audiences and inspire action across the world.
My work untangles complexities. Builds bridges between organizations and the people who rely on them. I tell stories to inform, teach, connect.
Below are samples of recent work. All projects are collaborative — I have selected examples for which the bulk of the creative conception, content development, and overall execution were led by me.

Article: New to VBC? Consider these programs
I developed this article for athenahealth’s blog as part of a bundle of content related to value-based care. I have written on a variety of topics related to VBC, alternative payment models in healthcare, quality-based Medicare and Medicaid programs, and revenue cycle management for medical practices.

Case study: Raleigh Neurology Associates
I worked with an athenahealth customer and internal stakeholders to develop this customer case study and video. The interview for this case study was conducted at athenahealth’s annual conference, Thrive.

Article: Maximize performance with athenaOne® for Orthopedics
Working with internal subject matter experts, I wrote this middle-of-funnel article to build awareness of an athenahealth product using messaging developed specifically for orthopedic practices. This article was part of a large, cross-function effort to bring a new product to market.

Video: Say Hello to Decision Intelligence
I evaluated and selected a video production vendor specializing in 2D and 3D animation. I worked closely with that team to concept, script, storyboard, and produce this video that introduces both a new category (decision intelligence) and a leverages an updated brand identity for Pyramid.

Media placement: Wall Street Journal — Tech Workers Take to the Mountains, Bringing Silicon Valley With Them
As a PR specialist, I was liaison between journalists and company spokespeople. I coordinated this article after receiving an inbound request from the journalist.
